Inspire: To fill (someone) with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. It is to stimulate, motivate, cause, incline, persuade, encourage, influence, stir and energize.
Communion: It is the remembrance and celebration of what Christ did for us on the cross. We believe in the regular partaking of communion, by the eating of the bread and the drinking from the cup.
The Church: The universal church is the body of Christ on earth, it comprises of anyone who receives the forgiveness of sins available to those who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and accepts Him as their Lord and saviour. The Local church is a group of Christians who meet regularly to worship, fellowship, study God’s word and do the work of ministry on a local, national and international level.
Fivefold Ministry Gifts: These are the primary leadership gifts within the body of Christ designed to lead, strengthen, educate and builds the local church to be effective in it's calling. The Ministry gifts are the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher (Ephesians 4:10-16). There are many more gifts and callings within the body of Christ, we will actively seek to help build and create an environment where everyone can develop and fulfil their gifts and calling in Christ.
Reaching Out: The church is designed to impact it's community with the love and grace of God, our heart's desire is to proactively, creatively and effectively reach out to everyone within our local area and beyond.
The Bible: Is the inspired Word of God, it is infallible and the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The Trinity: There is one God who exists co-equally and co-eternally as three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ the Saviour: He is the Son of God, by him salvation is available to the world. He died on the cross for the sins of the world, He was buried and on the third day He rose again. The price He paid triumphantly overcame sin and death and gave access to the Father those who believe and received Him. There is no other way or name by which people can be saved except by the name of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit: He is the third person of the Trinity, He is coequal with the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. He was not created but has always existed and is eternal. He was promised to us in the Old Testament (Joel 2:28) and by Jesus (Acts 1:4-5), He comes into our lives to lead, guide, teach, He brings all things to our remembrance and testifies of Jesus (John 14:26; 15:26).
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: This is a distinct experience. It is the fulfilment of the Old Testament prophecy and promised by Jesus. It is available to every Christian and is evidenced by the speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4). ts 2:4).
Baptism in Water: This is an outward expression of an inward experience, It is the demonstration and the identification with the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is the full immersion in water and the public declaration of the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
